General Program Policies and Information:
Do the Extended Day Programs get any money from the Board Of Education?
Never! All of the Extended Day Programs are self-sustaining and receive NO funds from the Kinnelon Board Of Education.
Do the programs run on 1/2 days and scheduled early dismissal days?
Yes! We'll be here for you on all scheduled 1/2 days and early dismissal days.
Do the programs run when school is out?
Unfortunately at this time, we do NOT run when school is closed. We suggest that you make alternate arrangements for those days.
How do parents pay for the programs?
Parents are asked for three months tuition in advance of each session.
We ask for a $50 non-refundable deposit when you are pre-enrolling, but this deposit is applied to your tuition.
Are there any payment plans available if I can't manage the full 3 months at a time?
Of course! We are always happy to work with you. Please contact us to let us know your intention to pay monthly. Then, you'll divide your total due for the session by the number of months in the session (Sessions are as follows: Sept-Nov, Dec-Feb, Mar-June). Submit your first months payment with your enrollment and the remaining payments will be due by the 10th of each month.
Is there a family discount available?
Absolutely! If you have two or more children enrolled in our programs, we'll give you a 10% discount on each of them!
Is there a minimum number of days that I must enroll my children in these programs?
Never! You can enroll your child for one day each week, five days, or anywhere in between that suits your needs. The only thing you can't do is pick and choose dates. As an example, if you sign up for Mondays you must sign up for ALL of the Mondays in the semester. This applies to each day.
What if I have an emergency and need to drop my child off early or pick him/her up late from school?
We're here to help you! If you have an emergency, please contact your school as soon as you can to make arrangements with us. Please understand, though, that birthday parties, playdates and the like to NOT count as emergencies.
What is the behavior policy?
To keep the program a happy experience for all the children, if there is consistent disruption of class by any student or students, the parents will be notified.
After exhausting all possibilities, if there is no improvement in a child’s behavior the parents will be asked to remove the child from the program. After an agreed upon period of time , the child may be reinstated.
